Please complete the guest intake form HERE.

*Book your preferred time for the show at calend.ly/aclint.

Please call, email, or text to let us know if you are held up or need to reschedule. We have a twenty minute late policy for no shows without notice, at which point we will reach out to book a different time or date.

*Please arrive MICROPHONE and camera ready with a strong internet connection.

  1. Connect your computer and Zoom to your mic
  2. Wear headphones

*If you don’t show up with a microphone at least at this level of quality we will not film the show and we’ll need to reschedule.***

If your sound quality or wifi connection is poor, we will need to reschedule and you may risk having your episode go unpublished.

Email us if this is an issue and we can find a way to mail you a lended microphone if you need one.

Microphone:

If you don’t have a mic yet, I recommend this Logitech mic headset. It’s a $20 investment that will pay off for years to come. I own one to film shows when I travel and love it.

If you want to invest in something a little bit higher quality, I am selling a Raizer Seiren X in perfect condition. Send me an email, and I will give you a great deal!  I promise it will be well worth it and used again and again.

You must also make sure you are wearing headphones to prevent an echo. Any pair should do. I personally prefer wearing Airpods.

If you would like to invest in on-camera gear, this magic selfie light will take ten years off and make it look like you’re in full makeup.

Home DIY hacks for that smooth NPR-like sound:

Camera

We also suggest avoiding wearing distracting accessories from the neck up such as baseball caps, sunglasses, etc. The camera picks up more than you think. Shave your beard , pull your hair back so you don’t play with it, make sure there’s nothing in your teeth, etc.

The most flattering backgrounds and clothing for the camera are minimal, dark or bright solids – i.e. avoid white colors, heavy patterns, or cluttered backgrounds. Please also tune in from a quiet room with a minimal background and is free of noise or distractions, if possible.

You are welcome to request a break anytime during the session and we can pause filming anytime. You also get say over the final cut (before publishing) if you would like to review or omit anything off the record. The show itself only records for an hour, unless we encounter tech difficulties or are having fun and decide to go long.

Sample Questions

Because wealth building and personal finance is a big subject on this show, we love asking nitty gritty questions about spreadsheets and bottom lines. While we encourage you to prepare to discuss numbers and financials, it is not a requirement for your appearance and can be edited out or declined if you prefer.
